This story is fucking delightful. It’s predicated on an A/U where Saskia is Queen of Upper Aedirn and Iorveth is her consort, and Roche has wound up a political refugee in their custody, and this is like… little diary entries of Roche being suspicious that Saskia is no ordinary peasant woman.

There should not be actual growling coming from the royal quarters as often as there is. Everyone acts like this is normal. I tried to get an explanation out of Ciaran and he claimed it was Iorveth. Couldn’t follow up on that without admitting to him I’m familiar with Iorveth’s sex noises and I know he doesn’t sound like a bear in a baiting pit. There are already enough rumors about me and the prince consort floating around without Ciaran spreading more of them (Your picture was not posted)
