So Uprooted’s BIGGEST missed opportunity is Agnieszka/Kasia, no doubt no doubt, BUT

Its SECOND-biggest missed opportunity is when Agnieska has to go to Kralia and try to reason with the King, and she has absolutely no allies to help her–even when she says in the very beginning of the book that most of the Dragon’s girls go to the Kralia

Many of them attend University and become scholars, and then there’s the fine old lady Jadwiga Bach, who was the mistress of several members of the nobility.
