wow, this totally happens in that “humans are terrifying” scifi post. You have let all the chicken microbes in, knowing that you can kick them out later. that’s hardcore.
Ha! The cut was pretty well closed-up, I’d put medical superglue on it and it kind of healed enough that it at least wasn’t open to the blood layer. So it seems okay actually.
It’s just a known truth, you always get cut and nicked and banged-up on slaughter day and every single damn cut gets infected. You just have to kind of disinfect the hell out of yourself afterward. I’m in line for the shower.
I hope the bile or gall or whatever it is that’s in my hair doesn’t stain. I mean, I have green hair anyway, but it’s ombre dyed at the ends, not a weird chunk at the roots… also my skin… doesn’t need to be green… ew.
Could be worse. The people out near the killing cones usually wind up with poop in their hair.
