I misunderestimated how much Tumblr loves vultures. Or, really, just failed to consider it. LOL. I’m always surprised by the kinds of stories people read and nod solemnly at and maybe click like on vs the stories they reblog, I’ve been here since 2012 and personal-essaying on the Internet since 2001 and I still sometimes get it wrong.

I have come here to note that at work I have no browser extensions installed so I actually see Tumblr ads and, to my utter shock, I have seen several relevant ones in the last two days. Like, they’re ads for a site I visited (in this browser, sans extensions, so my browsing info is just right out there). WTF bro! Since when does Tumblr know who I am. That ain’t right.

Well so you gotta get Firefox, man, and get some privacy extensions https://blog.mozilla.org/firefox/make-your-firefox-browser-a-privacy-superpower-with-these-extensions/ on there, and if I can do it y’all can do it, but– I was on my work computer and I don’t super have permission to install stuff on there. On my personal computer I’ve got uBlock Origin and Facebook Container.
