which i object, is the horror that even in fantasy, so many powerful women, should so thoroughly have the same thought, of needing to be beautiful, but that's not OP's fault, that's sapkowski et al, this is fantasy, and that's as much as we can liberate ourselves, to be beautiful is still the highest calling, sigh, A Man Wrote The Canon

Tonight I’m thinking about how changing beauty standards would mean that different generations of sorceresses transformed according to different ideas of what the most beautiful, powerful woman in the world would look like.
Some sorceresses have super high foreheads and virtually no eyebrows, while others have leaden pale skin and beestung lips. Some are pigeon-chested with wasp waists, while others are ruddy and Rubenesque, all luxurious rolls of fat.
You could go somewhere like the Conclave of the Mages and accurately estimate all the enchantresses’ ages by the dominant ideals by which they chose to change their shape. (Your picture was not posted)
