dude did some shopping today. got us liquor. (important.)

bought me a bottle of Laphroaig 10 year, which was my dad’s favorite tipple. have had some already.

also we needed maraschino cherries, the jar was nearly out. so he decided to buy Authentic ones.

He has not shut up one time about the fact that they were on sale for sixteen dollars and the regular price of them is twenty-four dollars. For a little jar!

Sixteen American dollars, he said.

He can’t get over this.

Marasca cherries are twenty four dollar good, definitely. So it depends.

They are really good but also really really uhhhh syrupy? They don't integrate into drinks the way the cheap ones do. So I have to recalibrate my recipes a bit to use them.
