tumblr doesn’t even pretend to show me notifications any more, if you say something to me and I see it it’s purely because I stumbled upon it by chance in an enchanted grotto deep in the moonlit forest at midnight and will never find it again.

A couple years ago I saw a Twitter post from a journalist that was something to the effect of "The only reason I'm still on Facebook is morbid fascination at watching high school classmates go from casual Trump supporters to full-on white nationalists in realtime" and like. Hideously relatable!!!! Not that I had many illusions about some of these people's politics to begin with which is why I haven't seen them in years but the evangelicals, man. ohgodohgodohgod.
