i think a lot of people—especially maybe people who weren’t in fandom before ~2015–haven’t seen/don’t understand the EXTREME chilling effect antis can have on a fandom. ive seen entire huge fandoms ruined and deserted because of anti shit. you have to nip it in the bud!!

also, as an addendum, i think a lot of people don’t understand what “harassment” is and is not, although antis are very good at it indeed. firm but civil disagreement in one’s own space: not harassment! (Your picture was not posted)
