Happy new year. I took a photo of the screen of the Zoom wake for Dad– it’s funny how much connection you really can get from a little screen thumbnail. I tried to talk about Dad’s imagination and love of books, since that hadn’t been brought up. He wasn’t imprisoned in this reality, but let his curiosity extend beyond mortal bounds, for both practical reasons and not. Anyway I didn’t say my point very well or loudly so who knows, but that’s what I meant. I’ve also attached assorted other photos– offerings left at the urn by Willa, and assorted goings-on around here for both Dave and Willa’s birthdays (which occur in rapid succession).
