Today I made King Arthur Flour’s pirozhki recipe, from their website. I
substituted 1 cup of sourdough discard for 1 c of the flour and the ½ c of
water. It worked great. Thing is, I’ve never had pirozhki so idk what
they’re supposed to look like? Trial and error suggests the round shape is
nicest.
I also made some sourdough baguettes this morning, after an overnight rise,
and they were really nice with R&G’s camembert I got at the
troymarket
last week when I was there (second-last photo, I think, which also features
some
blackbirdciderworks buffalo bluegrass from a bottle).
