so my not having any income between march and late august thing kind of did a number on my ability to interface normally with the world of like. buying things. owning things. needing something and going out and buying a thing to replace it. and so on.

i had already been out of some important possessions because at the end of last farm season i had that fire, and lost all my work clothes. most of them were junky old clothes i didn’t care about, but.

i have one pair of work pants for farm use, and they’re patched and re-patched to the point i was going to let them go.

anyhow, the point of this whole story: i finally went and bought myself a couple of pairs of pants the other day, online, from a site i haven’t bought from before.

then about four days later a sale email came from the site I buy all Dude’s shirts from, so I bought him some shirts, and then while I was in the clearance section I bought myself… more pants.

I don’t think i bought the same pants twice but we’ll have to see once they arrive. Whoops.
