Oh my god my family has a beautifully shadow-framed hair wreath that came from a maiden great-great-great-great aunt of some description, and it is the most exquisite thing– I was utterly fascinated with it as a child. We knew its story, from the beginning– it was made of hair donated by many friends, and it’s in so many different shades even after all these years, and I never thought it was creepy! I was JUST THINKING I wanted to learn how to do this. How fascinating!!!

That is incredibly neat! I wish one of the listed artists was near me and wanted to teach a workshop or three; this seems like the kind of thing I'd enjoy learning. (And I certainly have plenty of hair!) :D
