Ah I have gotten like, three people IRL to read that book. It’s so good.

I mostly have been doing it so they’ll read my fic https://archiveofourown.org/series/1343044, because I want more people to read that fic because I enjoyed it so much, but also, I genuinely do love that book a lot and it deserves to be famous.

I had another epic fic in the works about it but it got Original Novel Treatmented, so I haven’t ever posted much about it and someday I’ll get back to it, but. Gosh. Just, such good worldbuilding in that book. And it really finally got me to brush up on the archaic second person informal in English, which will probably be useful the rest of my life, LOL.

(It’s funny what various skills fanfiction gives you; my Star Wars fic got me good at gender-neutral pronouns, of all things. LOL.)
