The neighbor who a while ago (two weeks ago?) kept yelling https://bomberqueen17.tumblr.com/post/623647800103780352/vignette-construction and making me think he’d fallen off the ladder (oh yeah the one with the baby https://bomberqueen17.tumblr.com/post/623711980712296448/construction-vignette-update) just hollered a greeting at someone clearly arriving at his house.
COME ON IN, he said in a very N. Buff Italianish accent. TAKE YER SHOES OFF, WE’RE DANCIN’. C’MON.
(The thing about that accent, which I cannot describe adequately, is that all speech in that accent is conducted at a holler, at all times, that is the only volume at which it can be produced. For the record.)
