i am unreasonably invested in Axel considering how little he has been in
the story, and i am *very* exicted that you are still working on this

It’s always nice to have people like an OC, too. I just am a huge huge
sucker for outsider perspectives.

why IS Geralt the one they call Wolf even though they’re all Wolf Witchers?

That’s like the million-dollar question! Like, wtf, it’s so weird.

Well, of course the answer is Deeply Weird And Sad Childhood Events,
surely. So Geralt lies to Axel about it, but we’ll get the answer in
internal monologue, for sure. :)

But it wasn’t a Cat’s business, it wasn’t anything anyone needed to know
except the people who already did– the few survivors who still remembered,
and those numbers dwindling.

Also I was making good strides on Ancient Sea with the threesome sex scene
but I had to write a sidebar of Yennefer being really awkward which was
super enjoyable but took a lot out of me. And now there’s almost no time to
write, at the farm, so we shall see how fast these things progress– but
they are all in the works, at least.
