have you ever heard of a mixed (alcoholic) beverage called an icepick?

if so, what is it? how old are you? where are you from? who calls it that?

Just wondering, as I just made one.

oh i forgot about this. it’s just a vodka and iced tea with lemon, which is
a pretty basic mixed drink as such things go.

around here, though, it’s called a vodka tea. we don’t call it an icepick
either.

I don’t know who does. Y’all were inconclusive. Isn’t that weird? I
searched the web but like, nobody knows what the fuck they’re talking
about. It’s got to be a regionalism or something but I cannot figure out
which region.

I make herbal tisanes and put alcohol in them all the time and people are
always like “omg this is amazing what is yr secret” my secret is 1) always
make the tisane sweetened 2) don’t put that much booze in it

flavor-wise you won’t regret it, but like. I can’t speak as to whatever
life choices you might make under its influence. That’s a drink I’ve made
many a time and it is very, very good, and also very super very easy to
drink.

so my family for about ten years has had a weird-ass running joke about
making a drink that’s “half half-and-half, half half-and-half”

nobody has ever attempted this but let me save you the trouble: don’t
