Packaging chickens with one of this year’s apprentices (there are three, and this one is the young woman who the truck ran away from on Saturday, I’ll call her A but the joke is that all three of them have names beginning with A). We were discussing living in Wyoming, where her family was mostly based, and I’d just said something along the lines of how the population isn’t very large or dense out there, is it, or something like that.
A: Well, I couldn’t date any Hispanics.
Me: *silent boggle*
A: Because I’m related to all of them.
Then she noticed my reaction and laughed her ass off.
