Like, it’d be pretty funny if it was Lambert and the first time he meets him he’s like “ITS YOU!!!!!!!!!!! 💗0💗” and once Jaskier explains Lambert uses this knowledge to 1. Flirt hard with Jaskier because that’s adorable. And 2. Make Geralt EXTREMELY jealous because that’s hilarious.

Jaskier: hmm well, be the first to win the Bardic tournament two years in a row, write at least one banger that’s popular over the entire continent. And uhhh have sex with at least one witcher???
Jaskier’s poor grad advisor: wait, what?
Jaskier: yeah I know, two years in a row is ambitious, but I think I can do it.
This poor poor man: No no. I mean…yes that is ambitious but thats… not what was worrying.

This grad advisor is wondering how Jaskier passed his classes now: no. The um…the witcher…bit?
Jaskier, fucking finally getting it: OHHHHHH yeah I saw one kill a pack of drowners in my hometown when I was around 13 and kind of fell in love. He was so big and strong and saved all of Lettenhove and he stayed for dinner when my father insisted and I just stared at him the whole evening. Also I’m a slut for danger.
This grad advisor did NOT ask Jaskier!: oh um. Okay.

#geralt finds out jaskier had this crush once they’re together and he thinks its lambert#and he’s dreading introducing jaskier to lambert because his little broken heart knows destiny has no hand with him and jaskier#and he thinks when jaskier sees lambert all this will be over#but they meet#and turns out its not lambert#so lambert is bummed but geralt is paNICKED#because wHo Is iTT?????#he wants to figure it out but he also doesn’t want to reintroduce jaskier to the witcher he is fated to be beside#because Geralt is That Dramatic and has absolutely blown this out of proportion#he introduces Jaskier to Coen#its not Coen#but by now Jaskier has cottoned on because Geralt mistakes quietness for subtlety#but he’s not subtle#jaskier starts teasing him gently#then one night geralt just loses it#and jaskier finds him talking to roach *near tears*#and instead of going away he goes in and stands real close#and roach SHOVES them together and they kiss#and geralt knows and feels that what they have is stronger than Destiny#and then they run into eskel#and its eskel
