currently designing an embroidery for the formal sitting room here that says, as elaborately and bejeweledly as possible, “Sorry For Party Rockin’”, because that is the household motto.
(I was drinking Jameson with a huge ice cube, and then Dr. Friend, who really loves to give tours of his liquor cabinet and has been like this since I met him in the late 90s and neither of us were of legal drinking age according to the laws of this realm, came and gave me a small glass with too much of the best rum in the house in it, so now I am, tired, on a weeknight, at 8pm, double-fisting undiluted hard liquors like some sort of twentysomething which I am Not)
also at the moment there are, in the informal sitting room, three adults, five glasses of hard liquor, and three tarot card decks, and we’re comparing the genitals in the various tarot card decks (the Marseille deck is winning in every possible category)
