so the dep’t of labor website is letting me submit my weekly claims, and there’s no information in my inbox or notices about anything i need to do.
but. there’s also no money coming to me. no statements, no nothing. I’m just submitting claims into the void.
I’ve no idea what to do to fix this. They never acknowledged the transcribed version of my W-2 that I sent them a month ago, but they didn’t reject it either, so I don’t know if I was supposed to do anything else.
i’ll have to budget another couple of hours to sit on the phone, I guess, and call and ask them. I don’t really know what else to do.
It is very disheartening. Today was also kind of a hard day and nothing really worked right. It was my own fault, I stayed up late last night because talking to the adults in the house was too much fun. But it’s not very helpful at the moment, and I am tired.
I am going to put together sourdough waffles for tomorrow. I may be worthless in the eyes of the government and our entire capitalist society, but I can make waffles for some children. That’s something.
