actually, yesterday
My mother wrote to the kids who live here, since I’d said I was here. I sat with each of the kids separately and helped them write replies.
The postcard to the girl, my mom had signed “B’s Mom”, which I thought was rather long for a salutation. The one to the boy, she’d signed with her first and last name, and then “(B’s Mom)” in parentheses.
So I just had Girl address her card to my mom’s first name, it seemed easiest. My mom’s name is Chris.
Girl sort of mis-heard me, and thought the name had a P on the end.
So she now calls my mom Crisp, which is so funny I had to text my mother immediately. She was also very amused by this.
