So my dude has been isolating entirely alone the whole time I’ve been gone, so he came and visited this weekend since that’s not really breaking *our* quarantine. He had no Easter plans, otherwise.
We don’t own clippers, so there’s nothing we can do in our house about his hair being out of control. He was overdue for a haircut when the whole quarantine thing started, and then it was too late, and there’s nothing we can do. But Dr. Friend cuts his own hair with clippers, and so he has a set. So… while Dude’s here…
I’ve been kinda arguing that we should take care of it. Out on the patio, hook up the clippers. Dr. Friend and the kids all could use some grooming too. So….
It’s gonna be Haircuts On The Patio day. (i am abstaining, as is Bestie; both of us have long hair that we trim ourselves every six weeks or so.)
Anyway. We were debating when to do the grooming deeds, and I suggested Dude take a shower so we could cut his hair wet.
“Or I could wash his hair in the sink,” Dr. Friend said.
Bestie had been going to go off and do an exercise video, as her Quarantine Resolutions include daily workouts for self-care. “If I go am I going to miss anything good?” she said.
“We’re just two dudes taking care of each other,” Dr. Friend said.
(I am not sure how this haircutting lark is going to go but I hope it turns out well. If not, well, nobody’s going to see.)
