my account was suspended?

dragonlady7I guess spammers have been hacking people's accounts and changing the links in their profiles or something. Someone cracked my password, which is unnerving; it's an old one I used to use on a lot of sites, but I just went through and can't find any others where I still use it, so.
I just have one question, if they suspend your account, why do they not send you any kind of notification? I've been trying for hours to figure out why my automated email crossposts have been erroring out, but never got any kind of notification, even though the spammers that hacked my account didn't change my email address, so I had no idea what was going on and was looking in entirely the wrong place.
SO that's weird.
Anyway I'm back, and I'm sorry if I autofollowed anyone or put any links there? I don't know if I did, because it's not like I was ever going to be notified about it!

Oh, fantastic, it's not back yet either, so who knows how long that will take! I don't! I sure don't! It's not like anybody's going to tell me about it.
Oh good, apparently most of the hacked accounts were super inactive, so it wasn't worth the time to let anyone know. I know I'd be delighted if I came back after years away to discover that my account got hacked and removed years ago and nobody remembers why. Fantastic, I love that. I mean, sure, you make your decisions and run your site however you want, but it seems to me that a suspended account is worth some sort of effort to notify, even if you go back and do it after the problem has been dealt with.
