there are three of us in the room. middle-little is telling farmsister and i about her ongoing house renovations.
Middle-Little says she’s got the furniture arranged, including her bed, and then she does a weird digression about how she’s got her bed arranged next to a window now and how she’s worried about like, people seeing in the windows, or whatever. so she goes on about that a bit, and then says,
“And now I have a lot of stuff to mount.”
There was a moment of silence, and then Farmsister started snickering, and I laughed, and Middle-Little was like, what, and Farmsister was like, what, and we all laughed a bit longer, and finally Farmsister said, “OK I literally can’t figure out what you mean?” and Middle-Little was like I have to hang stuff on my walls and Farmsister was like ohhhhhhhh and Middle-Little was like, “what did you think I meant??”
