That’s amazing, and sad that she didn’t understand how much this means to you
Oh, no, the thing is– I think she did, and had been too shy and hadn’t thought I’d care. I’m super intimidated by her even after all these years but it’s become clearer to me from Dude’s commentary that it’s really not justified.
She many years ago pitched a fit at his older sister for living with a boyfriend before marriage, years and years and years ago, and was skeptical at first with me too but it’s been seventeen years now and she’s pretty clearly over it, and hasn’t, I think, really known entirely how to convey that, so. I do think this was meaningful for her and she did intend it that way.
