I’m in. :D
I want to do this and i started to sign up on AO3 but I don’t, I just fundamentally don’t, understand fic exchange challenges. I have some kind of mental block or something, the rules just don’t click for me and it asked me for a Prompt URL and I don’t even know what that– would be? I? what do? Agh.
I have such good reading comprehension, and then I get a set of instructions that seem like they’re straightforward and I get to the end and I’m like– what?
Ugh I’ve looked at this like four times and I’d just shrug and move on but *i really want to do this*. :(
If it’s based on the Yuletide signup form, the prompt url is optional. You get matched on fandoms and characters and that’s the only part that’s binding, but you _may_ write a post suggesting scenarios or listing stuff you love/hate, and the URL for that post goes in that field
Well, that could explain some of my difficulty. I’ve wanted to do Yuletide for about 5 years now but just haven’t really understood it well enough to try! So if this is the same thing, then at least I guess I have my inexplicable hang-ups neatly collected in one place. I think I get it? But I am really not used to thinking of stories like this! I don’t know why this is so hard for me. I’ll definitely try again to figure it out!
