I did cook dinner. But listen. He did a bunch of dishes first, and then he went out grocery shopping, and while he was gone I defrosted things and did myself a little tarot reading that gave me the Ace of Cups as the “future result”, which was pretty great, and then he came back and I cooked and he chatted with me the whole time and then I finally screwed myself up and said listen it was really hard for me to suck it up and be in charge of *all food* this past week ok, and he was like yeah, it was great that you did tho, and now we’ve got food for next week so it won’t be like that again, and. sigh. i guess i’ll take it.
then he took me out for ice cream so that was nice.
He didn’t do all the dishes yet tho. I am not entirely pacified unless he does them all.
In other news we’re leaving for Iceland in 22 days and I haven’t started thinking about that, so now I have to start thinking about that. I sort of… didn’t block out any mental space for thinking about it? So like. I’d better.
