went 1) to the library to return a book so it’s not overdue. yeah! Then turned and went two blocks to 2) Hyatt’s, which is an ENORMOUS art supply store. (Their website is kind of awful but you can buy from them on Amazon so like if you’re going to spend money on Amazon do understand you can still support indie sellers on there should I write a post abt that?) where we bought gifts for all the children, and then went 3) down to the Queen City Market where some friends of ours have booths every year, and bought… usually we find a lot of stuff, this year we didn’t find so much, but we did get something for Dude’s mom, which he actually picked out, usually I’m the one who sees things but he spotted it and beelined for it, which is great.
Then we went to the West Side Bazaar, and he had ramen and I had dim sum, and it was great. Then we came home and took naps and the cat was insanely cute lying on my arm with her head upside-down, so that was nice. Now I can’t get out of bed.
I don’t know what’s going to happen for dinner. I have a creeping suspicion I’m going to cook it. He never did any dishes this morning after all, so they’re all still there. I might die, because it would be easier than saying anything. Mm, maybe. Except I just bought Christmas gifts for my whole family, no way am I going to kick the bucket now. Dang it. Fine, fine.
