Some Michaels stores have a Hobby aisle with Dragon figures. They’re like 5-8" tall … https://www.michaels.com/safari-ltd-twilight-dragon/10287820.html

Maybe something like: https://www.darkknightarmoury.com/dragon-statues
I asked for clarification and she says probably he’d like a stuffed dragon.
So. My thought is, he’d like something rad-looking that could double as like one of those pillows you lean against to read. So maybe I’ll try to make something? Is this how I die? Probably, telling myself it’d be no big deal to make a giant stuffed dragon for my nephew who I’m not even going to see for Christmas.
Like… just take a pillow, and then add a head on one end, a tail on the other, and some legs, and then patchwork it into some really cool scale texture somehow. Like… how hard could this be? Really hard, I’m an idiot. But. That’s what I’m thinking of. I even have an old body pillow that’s still mostly fine but the cover is threadbare and gross, which I could just repurpose into the middle of this thing.
I don’t have time for this. I’m buying everyone sketchbooks. But maybe I’ll still make it. Who knows. I missed his birthday so whatever.
