I instantly thought of that Brie Larson photo from the Captain Marvel premiere. Back. Yes. Good.
Ah– yes, that’s a good image.
I have a more uhhhh substantial vision for this character, though, and
buttons_beads_lace at some point sent me a link to the Instagram of a young woman who is a pro wrestler under the name Jordynne Grace and I almost had a stroke. Holy shit! Holy shit look at this woman!!
I can’t make the embed code work but in this video she’s the one doing the lifting.
So like. Yes. Back muscles but also. When she describes herself as having magnificent thighs, I don’t mean like, long and lean, here. There’s nothing wrong with those, that’s just not what I mean.
The main male character is actually sort of complicated in gender, and presents somewhat androgynously. The main female character is really really really really not, in any way, androgynous.
(I think she’s taller than the woman whose Instagram I’m linking to, and probably a bit less babyfaced, but maybe not, I haven’t made up my mind on that. I don’t actually usually picture characters that clearly until I’ve known them a while.)
