So my phone could register some kind of cellphone network from the end of the dock at the camp, sometimes, if I didn't touch the phone too much. But I could barely send and receive texts, let alone load webpages, so it was kind of... well, it was profound, the stillness and disconnectedness.
When I was out in the canoe I'd get all my texts from the last day or so all in one lump.
I have a billion photos and little videos, and I discovered, sitting on the dock, that there's now a timelapse feature on my camera phone so like, brace yourselves, Internet.
I'll update more later but I'm back at the farm and someone aged five and a half is attending extremely closely with her face in my face. :)
Sorry if I missed anything important, either on here or in the world in general. I don't have the slightest idea what happened while I was gone.
