Hmm. Our scammers almost always call from local numbers. I wish they used international ones because then I wouldn’t have to worry that I might be ignoring a legit call!
The normal pattern up until yesterday has been calls from numbers identical to mine up to the last four digits. But yesterday the Sierra Leone thing started (and it’s apparently widespread; when I Googled to remind myself where, exactly, Sierra Leone is, the first Google search result for the name of the country was a Texas news affiliate explaining what the phone scam is), and last night Lithuania, which was only notable because it borders the country Dude’s mother’s family fled from and so he keeps tabs on the region. He did not answer, though.

I got four calls from Spain at three in the morning yesterday so I feel you
I apparently missed another one overnight. Seriously wtf.
