i clicked "yes", i mean, like you do

we are sitting next to one another on the couch

Spouse and I just put events in our (colour-coded! I'm very proud) shared-calendar system and expect each other to notice :-)

We do have a scheduled weekly catch up where we check through the next couple of weeks of calendar just to be sure, and hash out any other admin/planning that needs to happen. The idea is we keep the admin-and-planning conversations for that catch up unless it really can't wait, so we don't waste precious time on them the rest of the week. It sort of works?

Oh I use Calendar heavily but mostly it's with the farm. they have scheduled monthly meetings and quarterly Business Vision Check-Ins because of course they're not just co-parents but also co-business-owners, and there's one other person on the management team but he lives in the apartment connected to the house so he's around a lot and is pretty much family.

Dude uses calendar software for work though ,so he's kind of resistant to incorporating it into his home life. so this isn't really our usual.

Hahaha. It is very cute.

(I was very excited when our mutual employer made a change to our work calendaring such that we can subscribe the home calendar to our respective work calendars, so I can see *all* my commitments in one place.)
