the igniter is going on our stove

dragonlady7The igniters that turn on the burners stopped working some time ago. The one that lights the oven has been on the fritz, though it's always worked before.
But it didn't work tonight; the timer went off for dinner and we went and it was cold.
Darn shame we don't have a spare oven hooked up in this house anymore...
We got it relit. But.
It's annoying, we're redoing the kitchen at some point, I just feel like we should figure on replacing the appliances, but. Argh.
(Dude really thinks we need to do a bunch of other work on the house first. It's not my house so I'm letting him lead but he's not actually really doing anything. I have a creeping feeling we're going to have to just go out and buy an oven, and the kitchen remodel is just never going to happen. Shrug.)
