I almost forgot, we've got tickets to see the Buffalo Beauts this afternoon at HarborCenter. I've never been to a NWHL game before. I think I went to an NHL game one time, a Sabres preseason game, and I've been to women's college ice hockey, but this is my first time seeing the NWHL, which is stupid because they skate at a venue where my roller derby league moved to as well, so it's not like I don't know where it is and it's not like tickets are expensive.
Anyway.
Considering bringing a purseload of camera and lenses. In my experience, nobody makes you sign waivers or tells you you can't shoot, if you've got camera equipment that fits in a purse, but if you have a big lens (which I own) and they see that, like, in its own bag, that's when they're like "ok who are you with". So. I want to bring the 70-200 2.8 but if I can't fit it into my purse I'm probably not gonna.
I do have a purse I think it'd fit in, though. so like. I own that lens and have used it like four times, I should bring it. ...
Ehhhhhhhn we'll see how I feel when it's time to leave. In like an hour. Oop I should dig my stuff out and make sure the battery's charged!

So exciting!!!! Honestly, I don't think women's hockey is big enough to warrant asking about cameras but I've only been to the one and I have no idea. I'll be watching the online stream!

i hope you have a good time!! the beauts have some really awesome players this year. i got to see a few of them last year when they were on the NWHL all star team and played a couple exhibition games in florida, and it was really fun.
