you know what? I Literally Cannot Face trying to organize my photographs enough to be sure that I’ve got offline copies of everything I have up on my Flickr account by January, when they’re going to start deleting free users’ shit, so while I deplore them corporately, I am going to probably buy myself a membership there. (This is my Flickr. Behold my Flickr.)
And, in the meantime. I’m going to upload the four or five years of photographs that have been just sitting on my hard drive not doing much of anything except maybe once in a while getting put up on Facebook.
You know what??? I deplore Facebook more than I deplore Flickr. I’m not going to give Facebook any more content to serve their ads over and conduct their misinformation campaigns under etcetera. So. Flickr it is.
Stay tuned: i’ve just started uploading the photos from the trip I took to Norway for my cousin’s wedding in 2015.

(above: a July sunset, after 11pm, over the Atlantic near Bergen as we wait for a ferry.)
I’ll put Kyrgyzstan up there later.
(If anybody has been wishing I had a ko-fi or whatever these last few years, I don’t, but Flickr has a “gift pro” option and it’s $34.95 with the current discounts. It’s OK, I’m not really asking anyone, and there are far needier people than I this holiday season, but I would be delighted.)
