Date: 2018-12-05 02:10 am (UTC)I'm not sure fandom won't clash with pornhub eventually, too - the IP issue is one I don't know their stance on - but at least the sex workers may have somewhere to go.

Date: 2018-12-05 04:54 pm (UTC)I... would be more inclined to go there, if I knew there were... my kind of people there, you know? I had just sort of assumed "mainstream porn = hostile to female-bodied person", it's a thing I had drummed into me early on when I Logged On To Surf The Net as a wee tyke (ok I was 15 when the Internet became a thing just anyone could log onto, so like, whatever).
I dunno, I don't know that fandom as a whole can overcome that same feeling I come from. I don't know that they'll go there. I probably won't because I'm a text-type person who DW is custom-tailored for, but the more visual types, the gifset creators... maybe!! Maybe?? It's fascinating to contemplate. If the sex workers go there, and then the fandom pornographers... the visual artists... I mean, it's possible they could curate a community/ies... and that would be great.
It'd be cool.
I'm skeptical and I'm gonna wait and see. Shrug!

Date: 2018-12-06 01:49 am (UTC)That said, queer porn is its own universe with different rules already. So idk, it might work out for those parts of fandom. I honestly hope something does. I'm tired of seeing puritanical bs target queer communities and women with laser focus and leave 4chan doing whatever it wants, whenever it wants.
