You live with someone for 18 years, sickness & health and all that, have children together n stuff and you think you know them, until one day you hear them playing Bad Romance sung by the Chipmunks like, 9 times in a row, and let me tell you it makes a person question E V E R Y T H I N G
this is like a few years back when after about 12 years of cohabitation I heard Dude go into the bathroom and then the tub running and I thought oh he’s warming up water for the shower, and then the tub kept running and then there was splashing and I went and knocked and poked my head in because I thought something must be amiss, and there’s all six feet three inches of him kind of crammed into the tub, one foot hanging out, elbows everywhere, and I’m like uh what are you doing and he’s like having a soak and I’m like great! and closed the door and went and freaked out because who is this person and why is about 67% of him in my bathtub and what did he do with my dude
but apparently he really just wanted to take a bath, once in a decade, so…
