boys and men will try to convince you that humans are intrinsically selfish and egotistical because they can’t cope with the fact that women are actually taught from birth to put their community, their friends, their family, everyone on equal (sometimes even higher) footing.
male individualism is completely dependent on the emotional labour of women, and whenever you try to point this out they act like you’re denying basic human facts
so i wrote this post like over a year ago (still stand by it though lol), but somehow it blew up yesterday, and so many ppl in the comments are like ‘how DARE you talk about this on REMEMBRANCE DAY, when so many MEN laid down their LIVES for YOU, you’re EUROPEAN, this is so HYPOCRITICAL’
like 1. i didnt fucking write this about remembrance day
2. literally the fact that mostly men died is because mostly men were in combat situations which is a result of other men restricting access to women
3. i am literally DUTCH-INDONESIAN, do you honestly think that i am going to appreciate the dutch army and ruin a fine sunday that way?
