this is the kind of person i am
every time i see an article or post about how someone famous has died
i rush to my tumblr dashboard and instantly blacklist that person’s name and every variation i can think of
(i’m just gonna put this behind a cut and be curmudgeonly to myself and those of you who click on this because it’s funny, but those of you with pure hearts and light spirits can just keep scrolling by)
and then i still see a fucking deluge of redundant posts because most of y’all don’t tag your shit
but at least it’s not my entire dash
i also have learned that every single time i see a post that says today’s date, or day of the week, or anything like that, i instantly PostBlock it the first time i see it
because otherwise i gotta scroll through every single one of you savages reblogging the same fucking post until whatever the event is, is over. (april the twenty-second. welp it’s thursday. wednesday addams dancing. it’s some day they mentioned in a movie once oh my lord let’s all reblog the same post in a row. jesus christ almighty.)
so like, praise be to the new xkit people, for making this hellsite usable. there’s no such thing for twitter and it’s sometimes more than i can handle, but i follow fewer people there.
