So sorry! I don’t handle headaches well either.
ugh they’re the worst! other people are so brave about them but– it’s your head, it’s the parts you use to do everything else, it’s the worst, how are you supposed to tough it out????

i’m not sure what crocin is but I’ve tried ibuprofen. (a quick Google confirms my suspicion that crocin is a brand name for paracetamol, which is a different molecule that does almost the same thing as ibuprofen, so. or maybe it’s more like aspirin, i forget. either way.)
At least it’s not a migraine. I think the amount of time I’ve been spending staring at my phone reading to Farmkid is not helping. I managed to beat it down with ibuprofen and ignoring it this morning– having work to do that didnt involve bending over helped, having to bend over when you have a headache is the pits. But it sort of hovered around in the background all day, and tonight after I spent another 45 minutes reading off my phone to Farmkid it came back.
I do appreciate that it waited until the end of the reading, though. I said “I think we’re at a stopping point, good night!” and lowered my phone and stood up and was like oh you’re back. This time I’m not fucking around: I took three Ibuprofen and an ounce of Irish whiskey, and about ten ounces of water, so if none of that fixes it overnight I’m just going to, well, be sad, I guess.

I am super pumped for sheep. I like them but not enough to devote myself to raising them. I would love to help, though.
I hope my head behaves tomorrow. I hope a lot of things. We have 260 chickens to process, which isn’t the largest batch we’ve ever done but is up there. This batch is making up for all of the other batches that were short all season long. Last chicken day everything went so smoothly and flawlessly. This time, well… Let’s just hope it goes well, or it’ll be a really really really long day.
