I keep seeing more shit about the Systemic Finn Versus Hux issue and I’m realizing I totally hecked that up.
The thing when you collectively get called out about something so you examine your shit and determine whether you’re part of the problem or part of the solution?
You do that. And of you’re part of the solution, you keep doing that. And if you’re part of the problem you either fix it or deal with the fact that you are part of the problem and have no interest in self-improvement.
There’s reasons you could be part of the problem without meaning to be, sure. But you still are. So. Keep that in mind. It’s probably keeping you from being your best self so whether you develop an interest in fixing it or not is up to you but you don’t need to like, double down on being part of the problem and like, try to make everyone else agree with you that this time it is okay.
I wish this didn’t have to always be a horrifying drive-people-away Everyone Who Disagrees Is Wrong thing but we don’t really do nuanced discourse in our society anymore so it’s inevitable. And I’m having to deal with the fact that the structure of my response is identical to all the jackasses who are Part Of The Problem so like–
Yeah, I hecked that up.
So like. Check your shit. If you are part of the solution, good. That’s it’s own reward. You are awaited in Valhalla,
If you are part of the problem then fix it or don’t.
There’s no other constructive solution, so shhh. That’s what I should’ve done. Shh.
