ugh i don’t have any sense of perspective on anything.
I was making potpourri; I can’t tell if it smells right.
I’ve been writing this story but I can’t tell if it’s interesting at all.
I really just want to sit and read books and not think about anything but that’s a bad idea.
Anyway I’m stuck on this stupid novel I’ve been writing, just like I expected to be, and since it’s not fanfic it’s not like I can post what I have and get kudos and comments to motivate me. Blargh.
I have a sneaking suspicion that I started the story in the wrong place and so I should simply discard the 30,000 words I have so far, and tell it briefly in a flashback inside the rest of the story.
But then maybe it’s not worth telling anyway so I should just cut my losses and stop working on it, because it’s not that interesting and there’s not really anything there to flash back from or to.
Sigh.
