22 minutes. pedometer says 1172 steps. my watch’s pedometer says 3700 but it’s including all the walking around i did this morning before i left– still, i did not walk literal miles around my house so i don’t know what’s up with that. (OK the program is nonresponsive now so i think the explanation is really that my watch is just broken, which i had suspected. it was expensive but it’s several years old. it still tells time but literally all of the “smart” features are basically unusable now and the buttons don’t work, so.) (Hm it’s responding now and insists I’ve walked 2.2 miles today.)
Also, one of the twenty-plus-year employees at this location arrived to let me in 11 minutes before 9, which I appreciated, and since it was early he took me to show me the Super Creepy Basement, which I’d asked about. It is indeed Super Fucking Creepy. Apparently this building used to be a train station. !!! Fascinating.
