Happy Independence Day from Kyrgyzstan! I took this picture yesterday in Ala Too Square, and I’m about to head down there again today to see the Festivities, whatever they may be (there’s little information to be had in English about what’s going on but there’s apparently Things Going On, who knows).
Anyway that’s a statue of folk hero Manas and the Kyrgyz flag, just to be festive.
