listen the twice-crowned King of the SCA kingdom of Aethelmearc (and SCA selects kings by right of combat, so) is running for NYS Assembly and none of his campaign materials anywhere mention this in any way at all and I really feel like that’s germane and awesome but I don’t want to be the jerk who makes that be a Thing
but still. know this: he’s not the current King, but he was, twice.
