im glad pigs can apparently be together when they have babies, not all animals safely can. piggy co-mothering this mixed pile of babies.
There was some trepidation. But indeed, pigs, especially this particular type of pigs, are reasonable co-mothers. Cookies and Red have been together since they were themselves piglets, so when they trial-separated them as Cookie came to term, Red was so distraught she pressed herself against the barrier the entire time they were separate.
I got the photo off my phone!
