I have studied music theory, to an extent. I mean. A long time ago. I learned to read music approximately concurrently with learning to read words. And I have a guitar, and a harp, in my possession. (Also, pointlessly, a bass clarinet, which I should have sold years ago.) And I have access to a piano. So it’s not that I have nowhere to start from at all. It’s that this would have to start with me taking a song that exists only in my head, and performing it. And oh man. That’s. That’s a lot. I’m. I don’t know.
It’s a deeply silly song, is the only redeeming feature.
But I don’t know where to start from in order to even begin to write it down. Because I haven’t even gotten as far as having this thing be out loud.
