I was just emailed a photo of me and Dude at the wedding we were at last weekend. You can’t really see my shoes but you can see why I wanted to wear heels and not flats, because otherwise I’m in a different climate zone than Dude when we stand next to each other.
I think we look nice but it’s times like this when I get to contemplate how much older we are now, wow. I mean, that’s fine, but. We’ve been looking identically awkward in wedding-guest photos for close to 20 years now, it’s a little weird to contemplate.
I took that cardigan off and didn’t wear it the whole night but there aren’t any photos of that, oh well.
I’m not sure what about this outfit compelled total strangers to come tell me I looked great, but I appreciate that they did.
