wait so pillowfort doesn’t e-mail you notifications of likes or comments or replies you’ve received
but it doesn’t have a notifications pane either

i don’t know, leave every comment thread you’ve participated in open in a new tab and refresh them all periodically until you decide you’re done having a conversation??
how do other people know to respond to you?
I’m sorry, I’ve been on the Internet a long time and I’m just sort of boggled by this. I guess I remember that forums used to work like that, circa 2001, and you’d just go back to the threads you’d been responding to and manually reload them to see if anyone had replied to them.
It’s just. That was almost two decades ago and I thought we had come up with solutions since then.
